MERTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY Research Notes
The Society has inherited from former members various files containing their research notes. Although some of these have been published in standalone booklets or articles in our Bulletins, many contain incomplete and unpublished research material, or additional material to update published works.
Ultimately we hope to deposit these files at Merton Local Studies Centre or Surrey History Centre to enable wider access to the material they consider worth retaining. In the meantime we have started listing the contents of these files and, where appropriate, scanning material within them, and making these lists and scanned copies available on these pages. We hope that this will assist future researchers to find additional information and to identify possible sources.
