Gresham College: Watch videos of their 2019 Tudor festival of lectures and their 2020 lecture on Thomas Becket and London

Gresham College celebrated the 500th anniversary of their founder’s birth with a Tudor Festival of lectures. Visit https://www.gresham.ac.uk/series/gresham-500-celebrations/  to watch recordings of those lectures, and to discover what new lectures are coming up.

Sir Thomas Gresham was a nephew of Sir John Gresham, alderman and lord mayor of London, who was granted the former Merton Priory estate called West Barnes in Merton in 1545.

A lecture on Thomas Becket and London by Professor Caroline Barron on 25 February 2020 can be watched online at https://www.gresham.ac.uk/lectures-and-events/becket-london
