Bill Rudd Collection: Morden shops: Aberconway Road

There are only three photographs showing the corner of London Road and Aberconway Road and 46-38 Aberconway Road, from October 1978, August 1983 and July 1998, plus one photograph of Iceland, on the opposite corner, from September 1995.

Iceland is on the site of the former Odeon cinema, which Bill photographed in August 1970. It closed in 1973 and Bill took several photographs of the Odeon at that time, both inside and out, plus a night-time view of one of the adjoining shops in Cinema Parade, now replaced by Lydl.
