‘Thomas Cromwell’ – a talk by Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch

Thursday 11th October, 7.30 pm at St Mary’s Church, Putney (next to Putney Bridge):
Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch, well-known from television programmes on Tudor history and the history of Christianity, will give a talk on Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII’s chief minister, to mark the publication of what is likely to become the definitive biography. The talk will be given in the place where Cromwell, the architect of the break with the Church of Rome, received his religious education.
